I’ve lived in Chapel Hill most of my life. Over different periods, I’ve lived in New York City, Boston, and Italy. But my husband, Bill, and I always knew we’d return to Chapel Hill. Chapel Hill is a charming college town that is also a diverse and cosmopolitan city. Perennially ranked as one of the best places to live, Chapel Hill and the Triangle Area is an easy place to love.

Now, we are here raising our daughters, Isabel and Catherine, and our son, Lee. We brought Isabel home from Guatemala in September of 2002 when her adoption was finalized, and Lee came home from Guatemala in 2005. Catherine was born in Sept 2006 and was greeted by her older siblings with much love and excitement. Our children are part of a vibrant diverse community that has welcomed them warmly and will continue to nurture their interests as they grow. If they grow interested in the arts, athletics, or academics, we know they are covered. It’s great to be a child in Chapel Hill; it’s great to be an adult in Chapel Hill.

I never planned for a career in real estate. The “plan” was to take my English degree from UNC straight to UNC Law. Instead, I took two years off from school and began selling houses. Instantly, I knew I’d found “it”. My original plan went out the window because I was so happy helping people find their dream homes.

Over the next five incredible years, I sold over 500 new single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums in Southern Village, an exciting new neighborhood in Chapel Hill. Since then I have enjoyed great success as a general broker with Prudential Carolinas Realty, consistently receiving top salesperson honors.  And, now, in addition to my general brokerage business I am fortunate to be onsite at Winmore, Carrboro's first green-built, mixed-use village, and truly the most exciting new construction taking place in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school district.

I love connecting with new people, helping people get what they want and sharing my enthusiasm for Chapel Hill. So much of what real estate is about is being a resource for people and what makes it fun and always changing is that you never know what exact form being a resource will take.

My goal is to succeed by exceeding people’s expectations of service and by fostering an atmosphere of confidence and professionalism as I guide my clients through the process of buying and selling their homes.
